Ashmirt Associates Nigeria Limited is a proudly Nigerian company with a distinguished history of innovation and service excellence dating back to 1980. Originally established as a business name with interests in tourism, publications, and business consultancy, Ashmirt quickly grew into a dynamic and diversified enterprise. The company has published Money Makers Magazine, Travellers World magazine, Abuja Pathfinder and Lagos Business Directory.

By 1982, the company incorporated Ashmirt Techno Nigeria Limited, marking its entry into the manufacturing sector. In a groundbreaking achievement, it became the first Nigerian company to locally fabricate Gas Industrial Oven, setting a benchmark for indigenous engineering and manufacturing capabilities. This pioneering spirit has remained a cornerstone of Ashmirt’s operations.

The Managing Director of the company, Owodunni Okupe, attended Eko Boys High school in Lagos, and later proceeded to the United States of America and obtained the Barchelor of Science Degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York. He thereafter proceeded to Long Island University for his Masters Degree where he was given an Honorary Award - Delta Mudelta - for being an outstanding student in the field of Economics.

Ashmirt made its mark across multiple sectors—organizing high-impact seminars, and publishing influential works including, Start Your Own Business, The Money Makers Magazine, Traveller’s Guide to Abuja, and Travellers' world Magazine and Lagos State Pathfinder. At the height of its national footprint, the company maintained operational offices in 13 of the then 19 states of the Nigerian Federation—testament to its widespread influence and reach. Ashmirt Associates was given an award in 1986 by Times Leisure Services, and later in 1987 and 1988 in France and Spain by the Trade Leaders club. Later Ashmirt became a member of Equipment Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and the Managing Director, Owodunni Okupe became the National President. He also represented Nigeria in 1992 in France for an occasion organized by UNIDO.

In line with its tradition of meeting essential consumer needs through innovation, Ashmirt recently launched the Ashmirt Gas Project in Lagos and Ogun States.
